Blocked pump

I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem, so if anyone has a solution, please let me know!! Problem: a blocked foundation pump. I hate the fact that Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation doesn’t have a pump, but at least, it doesn’t give me an artistic splash of foundation on my make up table. 9 out of 10 times when I come across a blocked pump, it’s Mac Pro Longwear Foundation. Normally, I check the pump before using it. But every once in a while, I forget to do that, and the result is shown above. And that’s on a good day. I have even had a day when I had to clean my freshly painted wall, and my carpet might not be clean anymore, either.

So, what can I do to prevent this? I keep my foundations as closed and covered as possible. Cap closed, in the original box, in a drawer so no light reaches any of my products and all of that in a room with the heater off and the rolling shutter closed. It doesn’t matter if I used the foundation the day before, or haven’t touched it in weeks.

Is there anyone out there with a solution?
